How to use the factfinder to measure v-belt?

1, Hold the Factfinder gauge so that blue split pulley with grove for v-belt is facing you.
2, Place the belt to be measured into the fixed pulley groove at the top of the gauge, then into the moveable pulley.
3, Pull down on the movable pulley until the belt is taut. Pull the belt as right as possible for a good reading.
4, Look at the outer edge of the belt as it appears in the measurement sots of the moveable pulley.
5, Next look at the window frame underneath the measurement slots. Locake the number you obtained in step 4 on the frame.
6, Combine the two numbers for the correct belt number.
