One of the most important parts of the air spring suspension strut is the crimp rings. Kaibintech’s crimp rings are made of seamless pipe and are galvanically processed to prevent rust to the clamps ring. Although the crimp rings are abundantly watered in rainy season, the roads are sometimes capable of corroding even galvanized parts. It is the matter of time.
The service life of the crimp ring is equal to the service life of the rubber bladder. When replacing the rubber sleeves, the crimp rings should be cut and replaced with new ones.

Why does some of air spring manufacturers using suture crimp rings?
The answer is simple. Because of the savings. And to the detriment of quality. In order to ensure air suspension strut with high quality, we use a quality seamless pipe. But, in the meanwhile, some of our followers take a sheet of metal, cut it into a strip on a guillotine machine, then roll it into a ring on a roll mill, and then weld a seam. It turns out the suture ring. Then this ring is covered with cheap zinc which will dislodge after several thousand kilometers of the car run.
